This national report showcases Patient Opinion’s analysis of a sample of critical patient and carer comments from over the past five years. Vibrant infographics communicate the data consisely and allow trends to be clearly highlighted.

Patient Opinion is an online forum where people, either patients or carers, can report their experiences of NHS care. This information is communicated to the care provider who has the opportunity to respond.

The report has become a tool for care providers to use the feedback as a catalyst for improving services and the overall level of care. While 79% of all postings on Patient Opinion include at least one positive aspect, anlysis of the data collected enables Patient Opinion to identify the most acute areas of concern felt by patients and carers. We were appointed on this national project with the brief of creating a user-focused report that would, where possible, inspire readers through information design and overall brand styling. As a studio, we were conscious of creating visual assets that linked in the new Patient Opinion website and are proud of the final result.

The publication of the report was picked up in healthcare forums, by the Daily Mail and was mentioned in Design Week.
