RZIM email campaigns

RZIM are an international Christian organisation that aim to equip Christians to share their faith with confidence and in an intelligent and articulate way.

They commissioned us to look at how they can improve on their email campaigns and help spread the good news more effectively. We created three distinct campaigns that had very different functions. The first was a cohesive, article based newsletter that was intended for kicking back and having a good ol’ read! We added some clever touches to help this experience, such as a contents list with recommended reading times, improved line length for easy readability and advert breaks in-between articles to help pace the overall emailer.

The second was a breaking news email template, this was intended to give subscribers short snippets of their updated blog posts on a more regular basis. We gave the articles focus by highlighting them with the brand colours and greying out the surrounding elements. This saw improved click-through rates that in turn got more people discussing articles and blog posts on their website.

The third campaign was the RZIM Prayermail — a short and sweet campaign to bring to light those that are in the thoughts of RZIM and its communities. The first campaign looked at highlighting a few of the missionaries and churches involved with helping out after the earthquake in Japan.
