Phil Reid – Founder/Director
With over 10 years’ experience in the design industry and a proven track record in digital and print mediums, Phil’s expertise covers branding and identity, digital integration, print and literature, and marketing solutions. He has developed inspiring campaigns and communications for small and large businesses, and creates conceptually led design solutions that engage with people.

Sam Small – Designer
Sam is a designer with a grounding in illustration and digital media, who adds a unique creative touch to the work produced within the studio. Highly proficient in conceptual sketching, and translating these through to on-screen creations, Sam knows Adobe Illustrator inside out.

Penn Glendinning – Designer
The token American in the office, Penn is a designer with an intense eye for detail and a commitment to the foundations of typography. He has a background in creative writing which means he can write as well as he can visualize.

Mike Hatcher – Developer
Mike has more than 10 years’ experience in front-end development. He speaks many languages (computer, of course!), but his real talent lies in his refreshing approach to code architecture and his knowledge of the WordPress open-source engine.

Mike Hatcher (there’s two!) – Developer
Mike, yes – as mentioned – we have two, is a highly talented php and html developer. With the ability to turn his hand to most things code, Mike (the second) enjoys working with multi-device websites, exploring development techniques across Macs, PCs, iPhones, iPads and more.

Val Kildea – Designer
Val is an experienced typographer and designer working with both established brands and fresh concepts. She is equally versed in design and production and sees projects through from concept to first use. She is also currently designing our very own typeface which will be available to download soon.

Nicky Farmer – Communications lead
Nicky has worked on internal communication ventures, rebranding and copywriting projects, marketing strategies and multimedia launches across new media, digital and print communications for 15 years. With a solid background in editorial structure and project management, she has an eye for what works and what doesn’t, and can help keep client requirements and creative output unified.

Jenny Hubbard – Accounts
Jenny plays a pivotal financial role at dtc. With over 25 years’ book-keeping experience, she is well versed in all things QuickBooks.
