The Dudley Canal Trust run regular guided boat trips through the tunnels of Dudley, accompanied by videos, lifelike reconstructions and stunning music and light shows.
The excursions are fun, informative and entertaining, and they attract over 80,000 visitors every year. Any trading surplus is re-invested in maintaining the tunnels and their environment, so visitors can enjoy and appreciate 420 million years of living history long into the future.
The Trust required a completely new digital presence, which would incorporate a new brand mark designed by an incumbent agency. Having won a nationwide tender to work on this project, our team designed and developed a fully responsive, CMS-enabled website that features an e-commerce and booking functionality that also powers the Trust’s behind-the-scenes day-to-day working. Since launch, the site has provided a marked increase in attendance and booking of special events.
